One. School’s Goals and Visions of Education

 一、學校教育目標

I. School’s goals of education

（一）以「素養導向教學設計」進行「跨領域教學」，教育孩子以「健康快樂、主動積極、精緻創新、感恩惜福、關懷鄉土、放眼天下」為目標，培養學生適應未來生活的能力素養，以達成十二年國教課程綱要「成就每一個孩子」的理念及學校教育願景。

(I) We adopt the “ competence-oriented instructional design ” to implement “ cross-disciplinary teaching.” The aim is to educate students “ to be healthy and happy, active and motivated, refined and innovative, grateful and appreciative, caring for hometowns, and equipped with international perspectives,” and to develop their ability to adapt to future life, so as to achieve the philosophy of ensuring “ a fair chance for all ” as depicted in the curriculum framework of 12-year basic education and the school visions of education.

（二）規劃新南兒童有情有愛的全人教育課程，以生活輔導、學習輔導、心理輔導為主軸，培養孩子具有生活實踐、環境調適、人文關懷及永續性的學習，做二十一代世紀新現代化國民。

(II) We plan the whole-person education curriculum featuring love and affection to educate students. The courses focus on life guidance, tutoring services, and psychological counseling. The aim is to develop students’ ability regarding life practice, adaptation to environment, humanistic care, and sustainable learning, so that they will grow into new-generation citizens of the 21st century.

（三）形塑校園生活文化，以生活中最重要的「統整」元素為課程設計重點，校本課程規劃包含三種統整性課程「自然生活」、「閱英生活」、「科技生活」，讓學校的校訂課程符合世界教育思潮，幫助孩子成就未來。

(III) To build the campus culture, we adopt “ integration ” as the most important element to design the school-based curriculum, which includes three types of courses: “ Nature & Life,” “ English Reading & Life,” and “ Technology & Life.” The aim is to ensure that the curriculum is in line with global trends in education and help students achieve success in the future.

二、學校願景圖像

II. School’s Visions of Education

（一）盼新南國小是師生家長永續經營的學習優質環境，人人都願經營的大舞臺，有大家耕耘的心血，有大家智慧的結晶。

(I) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be a sustainable and quality learning environment where both the faculty and parents work together with effort and wisdom for the operation of the school.

（二）盼新南國小是師生及家長共創成功經驗的大家庭，有親師生合作無間的優質團隊。

(II) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be a big family for all where the faculty, students, and parents work collectively as a top-notch team to create successful experiences.

（三）盼新南國小是有希望、有活力的學校，行政民主化，教師專業化，學生學習快樂化，家長理性化。

(III) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be a promising and dynamic school where the administration features democracy, teachers boast professionalism, students enjoy learning, and parents value rational interactions with the faculty.

（四）盼新南國小是築夢的園地，學生能做自己的主人，教師則有第二以上的專長和教育愛，人人都有實踐教育理想的夢。

(IV) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be a place where students can be their own masters, teachers have the second expertise or more and are passionate for teaching, and everyone can build dreams to realize their visions in education.

（五）盼新南國小軟硬體設施齊備，以人性化、精緻化方式，達成溫馨貼切的服務品質。

(V) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be well-equipped with software and hardware facilities and to provide considerate and thoughtful services in a humanistic and refined way.

（六）盼新南國小朝向學校本位化發展，逐年塑造學校各項特色，提昇教學品質，足以吸引學生和家長，增強內在優勢。

(VI) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to develop its features and improve the quality of teaching year by year following the school-based approach, so that it can attract students and parents with its inherent strengths.

（七）盼新南國小是國家、社會、臺南市及社區的主動參與者，創造良性的互動，符合時代潮流趨勢。

(VII) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to be an active participant in local communities, Tainan City, the society, and the country in a way that it can create benign interactions and align itself with the trends of the times.

（八）盼新南國小朝向視野國際化、資訊科技化、學校本位化、課程統整化、教材生活化、教學活動化、評量多元化、親師合作化，掌握發展契機，創造顛峰與轉機。

(VIII) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to strive for the internationalization of perspectives, information technology, school-based education, the integration of curriculum, teaching materials for life, the diversification of evaluation, and teacher-parent cooperation, so as to transform for the better and achieve peak performance.

（九）盼新南國小形塑生活文化，引領孩子具備統整的能力，讓學習在生活情境中實踐，培養學生適應未來生活的能力素養。

(IX) We expect Sin-Nan Elementary School to build the culture of life on campus, lead students to develop the ability of integration, enable them to practice what is learnt in real life, and cultivate their ability to adapt to the future life.

三、學校經營策略

III. School’s Strategy of Management

　本校期盼結合學校與社區資源，培養新世紀有生活能力的兒童，經由多元精緻、活潑有趣、生活化的自主學習，融入生活教育、親職教育和民主法治教育，展現特有人文藝術氣息，注重團隊合作及人際互動，透過統整課程、綜合活動、生活輔導、學習輔導及生命教育等，讓孩子接受『有情有愛全人教育』的薰陶，以達『主動積極、健康快樂、感恩惜福、精緻創新、關懷鄉土、放眼天下』的學校教育目標與願景。

　We expect to combine the resources of the school and local communities to develop students’ life skills required for the new era. We infuse diversified, refined, lively, interesting, and life-oriented self-learning activities into life education, parent education, and legal education to enable the creation of humanistic and artistic atmosphere and the formation of teamwork and interpersonal interactions. Through integrated curriculum, comprehensive activities, life guidance, tutoring services, and life education, we expose students to the whole-person education featuring love and affection, so as to realize the school’s goals and visions of educating students “ to be healthy and happy, active and motivated, refined and innovative, grateful and appreciative, caring for hometowns., and be equipped with international perspectives.”

（一）主動積極：以終身學習的態度，帶動教師、家長、學生自發性的學習，提供表現機會，創造三贏的顛峰經驗。

(I) Active and motivated: With emphasis on the attitude of lifelong learning, we encourage teachers, parents, and students to adopt self-motivated learning and provide opportunities for them to express themselves, so as to create a triple-win situation.

（二）健康快樂：注重身心協調，重視內外在、心靈改造、氣質培養及體魄的強化。

(II) Healthy and happy: We value the balance for body and mind, the cultivation of inner and outer selves, spiritual transformation, the refinement of quality, and physical enhancement. 

（三）感恩惜福：蘊育愛與溫馨的關懷，引導學生珍惜自我、尊重別人。

(III) Grateful and appreciative: We guide students to be loving and caring in a way that they learn to cherish themselves and respect others.

（四）精緻創新：提昇教學品質，加強學生創意思考與解決問題的能力，並類化於生活中。

(IV) Refined and innovative: We continue to improve the quality of teaching, strengthen students’ creative thinking and problem solving ability, and guide them to apply the ability to daily activities.

（五）關懷鄉土：走訪社區，做社區古蹟巡禮，參與社區服務和活動，用心觀察，用力做善事，一步一腳印，畫下鄉土寫真，融塑對鄉土深濃的情懷，進而有助於社區的總體改造。

(V) Caring for hometowns: We take students to local communities to visit historic sites and participate in service activities, guiding them to observe with attentiveness, do goods with effort, and portray the characteristics of their hometowns in their minds. It will deepen students’ affection for their hometowns and inspire them to take part in community development.

（六）放眼天下：增強資訊與網路交流，注重環境生態教育，學習外語，瞭解不同文化背景的生活形態，開拓國際視野，進而彼此交流，使孩子擁有『地球村』的國際觀。

(VI) International perspectives: With emphasis on the sharing of information through Internet-based communication, environmental and ecological education, and the teaching of foreign languages and lifestyles in different cultural contexts, we enable students to broaden their international perspectives in the way that they learn to be a part of the global village and interact with people from different cultures.

 （七）生活兼美：美學的養分由學校澆灌，落實於生活，提升學童生活品質與優質美學，讓生活美學文化在新南學童的真實生活情境中，產生質與量的優質改變。

(VII) Aesthetics of life: We infuse aesthetics into the life of students, helping them develop aesthetic sense of life in a way that they can improve the quality and artistic aspects of their life.

貳、學校發展特色及發展重點

Two. Features and Focuses of the School’s Development

　本校曾為臺南市親職教育、急救中心學校，及臺南市國民教育輔導團第 二研習中心，注重生活教育、品德教育、民主法治教育、親職教育，兼重多采多姿的才藝培育及傳統技藝的傳承，強調培育學生存好心、做好人、做好 事、說好話、讀好書、寫好字，成為「六好」兒童。學校發展重點如下:

　The school used to be the parent education center, first-aid center, and the second training center for compulsory education counseling groups of Tainan City. It values life education, character education, education for democracy and rule of law, and parent education. In addition to the development of diverse talents and the inheritance of traditional skills, it also emphasizes the cultivation of the “ six goods ” in students, which are thinking good thoughts, being good persons, doing good deeds, speaking good words, reading good books, and writing good words. The school focuses its development on the following:

一、發展學校層次之課程與教學專業評鑑制度，建立教師專業品質機制，發展提昇精進教學策略。

I. Develop a school-level curriculum and teaching professional evaluation system to assess the teaching professionalism and quality of teachers and improve teaching strategies.

二、確立校本課程，延伸社區課程，銜接市本課程，讓學生能身體力行，實地操作，進行體驗式學習。

II. Identify school-based curriculum and relate it to community-based and city-based curricula to enable students to conduct experiential learning by practicing what is learnt in person.

三、訂定學習領域的教學基本能力指標，提升學生學習成就，強化學生基礎能力評鑑。

III. Define basic ability indicators for learning areas to increase students’ achievement in learning and strengthen the evaluation of their basic abilities.

四、重視學習領域各階段學習之銜接，並用於奠基與加深加廣，給學生更多學習機會的嘗試，提高學生學習成效。

IV. Emphasize the transitions to different learning stages in learning areas and use them as the basis to broaden and deepen the learning of students. Provide students with more opportunities to try so as to increase their learning effectiveness.

五、實施溫馨感恩惜福的生活教育，強調民主法治教育，推展體育教學與活動，落實兒童衛生保健工作，培育健康活潑的現代兒童。

V. Implement life education that emphasizes gratitude and appreciation, emphasize education for democracy and rule of law, promote physical education and activities, and conduct hygienic and healthcare work to nurture healthy and vigorous students.

六、重視教師的專業，鼓勵參與輔導工作，並與大學合作攜手計畫，做好三級預防，使學生能健康快樂的成長。

VI. Value teachers’ professionalism, encourage teachers to take part in counseling services, and work with universities to implement the three levels of prevention for mental health to ensure that students can grow healthily and happily.

七、引進社區資源支援弱勢學生，結合義工媽媽進行品德教育與學業輔導，提供學生溫馨的身心照顧。

VII. Introduce community resources to support disadvantaged students and work with volunteers to provide character education and tutoring services to meet students’ needs both in physical and mental care.

八、加強軟硬體設備，充實教學資源，貫徹「行政精簡化，修繕快速化，管理人性化」。

VIII. Upgrade software and hardware facilities and enrich teaching resources to realize the goals of simplifying administration, accelerating repair work, and enhancing the humanistic aspect of management.

九、取得綠建築鑽石級標章，完成市政府對家長的承諾，朝向綠色學校及永續經營。

IX. Obtain the diamond-grade green building certificate to fulfill the school’s promise to the city government and parents and develop toward becoming a green school with sustainable operation.
